It’s amazing how quickly the landscape changes as you head west. Suddenly there are mountains and sun and rocks…lots of rocks. Whiskey is still getting used to the lay of the land. I don’t think he likes walking on the rocks and he keeps trying to pee on cacti. That may be a lesson he just has to learn the hard way I guess.
We have made it all the way to Arizona at this point. I find the landscape to be stunningly beautiful but I know its not everyone’s cup of tea. I’m planning to spend the rest of the month in this state. It is tough to get reservations at a lot of the national and state parks because everyone is still snow birding and spring breaking here but I’ll manage. I’m looking forward to slowing down and just seeing a lot of the places I have marked on my map.
If you haven’t been over to my YouTube channel then you should go there to check out my new “A day in the life” series. I talk a lot more about what it’s like to live full-time in the van and where I’m going and what I’m doing. These blog posts are more about waxing poetic and mentioning the things I don’t in my videos.
But right now I am off to have dinner with some of my new fellow Travato owners. More on that later… 🙂
